I could retire tomorrow.

I could retire tomorrow.

Instead, I wake up at 5 or 6 AM.

I finish work at 9 PM.

I commuted between Milan and New York on intercontinental flights four times a month for three years.

Why?

The singular goal is to change the world.

In January 2021, I had an idea that nobody else was working on: build a self-learning chatbot in front of an AI model that could personalize and customize without costing millions.

At that time, zero infrastructure existed to make it happen. I worked with Microsoft’s AI lab passing along specifications and projects that the technology couldn’t yet support.

By the end of 2022, everyone started building the same thing. ChatGPT launched. The infrastructure finally caught up.

Even if I was late on my project, even if it took years to find and hire people, I contributed to that change. I was one of the first to see what finance needed from AI before the industry understood it themselves.

I had 20 opportunities to give up.

Every single time, I asked myself: why am I doing this?

And every single time, the answer was the same.

Because the point was never retirement.

The point was building something that matters.
