01Delete your account in the app
You can delete your account yourself at any time, from the Scalata AI Android app or on the web at chat.scalata.ai:
- Sign in to your Scalata AI account
- Open Settings, then Account
- Select Delete account
- Type your email address and, if your account has one, your password to confirm
- Select Delete account again. Your account is deleted immediately
If you have a paid plan, your subscription is cancelled as part of the deletion. You do not need to cancel it separately.
02Can't sign in? Request deletion by email
Email support@scalata.ai with the subject “Delete my Scalata account”. Send it from the email address registered to your account, so we can confirm the account is yours.
We never delete an account based on a request from a different email address. Once ownership is confirmed, we delete the account within 30 days and email you to confirm.
03Data that is deleted
When your account is deleted, the following is permanently removed:
- Your account and profile (name, email address, password and linked sign-in methods)
- All active sessions on your devices
- Your chats, messages, folders and any shared chat links
- Files you uploaded and your knowledge base
- Finance watchlists
- Connected apps, including their access tokens
- Your subscription and billing customer record
Deletion cannot be undone. If you want to keep a copy of your chats, export them from Settings before deleting your account.
04Data that is kept, and for how long
- Security audit log: a record of account events, including the deletion itself, kept for up to 1 year to protect against fraud and abuse
- Usage analytics: records of how features were used, deleted automatically after 180 days
- Payment records: invoices and payment history held by our payment processor, Stripe, for as long as tax and accounting law requires
05Connected apps
Deleting your Scalata AI account removes the access tokens we held for any apps you connected, such as Google or Microsoft. You can also revoke Scalata's access from each provider's own account permissions page.
